May Nature HikeFriday, May 16 8:30am (Chris Jacobs and Love Albrecht Howard)                                                       Rain or Shine

Limited to 18 participants (Members have priority)

Allow 1.5-2 hours

Hiking Difficulty: Low

For Six Pond neighbors and Nature geeks, Chris and Love will lead you on a leisurely stroll looking for signs of spring with an emphasis on native plants. We'll explore the unique habitats found along Cornish bogs and the edges of Halfway Pond.

Parking at Pinewoods Camp (80 Cornish Field) Carpooling is encouraged.

June Bird Walk : Sunday June 8 at 8 AM; Rain date June 14 at 8 AM (Caroline Chapin)

    Rain date is June 14th at 8am. Participants will be notified by email.

Limited to 12 participants. Please carpool. (Members have priority)

Allow 1.5 hours for the walk.

Hiking Difficulty: Low

No dogs please

Six Ponds resident and experienced birder Rusty Briggs will lead a walk focused on learning more about birds in our neighborhood. Bring binoculars if you have them and come ready for some gentle uphill terrain.

Meet at Wildland Trust’s parking lot on Mast Rd by 8am
Walk with focus on birds on WLT Gramp’s Loop trail.
